Emergency Management

Responses to emergencies and disasters are a primary responsibility of government. It is the City's goal that responses to such conditions are conducted in the most organized, efficient, and effective manner possible to maximize the safety of the public and to minimize property damage.

To aid in such situations, the City of Lebanon adopted an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) that establishes guidance on how the City will organize and respond to emergencies and disasters within our community. This EOP is based on, and is compatible with, Federal, State, and other applicable laws, regulations, plans, and policies, including the National Response Framework, State of Oregon Emergency Management Plan, and the Linn County Emergency Operations Plan.

Below is an evacuation map that contains useful information including Lebanon's American Red Cross certified evacuations shelters.
