Are you keeping drinking water safe?

Do you have a Lawn sprinkler system, Boiler, Swimming pool,  Water feature, A well and City water?

If you answered yes to any of these potential hazards and do not have a backflow prevention assembly you could be at risk and should install a backflow assembly. The homeowner is responsible for all costs associated with the backflow assembly (installation, testing and maintenance). The homeowner or a licensed professional may install the backflow assembly and a plumbing permit is required. After installation, have the backflow assembly tested by a State Certified Backflow assembly tester. This test is required annually in order to comply with state health and plumbing codes.

For More information on backflow prevention or annual testing contact the Public Works at 541.258.4918 or review our backflow brochure
