Water Treatment Plant

The City of Lebanon is proud to announce the commissioning of the new Membrane Water Treatment Plant on April 9th 2019. We treat water from the South Santiam River with new membrane technology.

First, untreated or “raw” water enters the Water Treatment plant. Then the water is filtered through membranes which screen the water and remove suspended particles. The filtered water is then disinfected, pH adjusted and fluoride is added. Finally the water is pumped to our two reservoirs, Grant and 5th St., which gravity feed the water to your home.

Lebanon's drinking water is tested frequently and the results can be found in the Consumer Confidence Reports. Click here for past summary reports.
