Partnership for Drug-Free Kids

Partnership for Drug-Free Kids works to reduce substance abuse among adolescents by supporting families and engaging with teens.

Drug overdoses now surpass car crashes as the leading cause of accidental death in the US.

And what is driving this trend? Prescription painkiller overdoses.

We can all play a role in ending medicine abuse.  By working together, parents and grandparents, health care providers, community leaders and educators can truly make a difference.  Partnership for Drug-Free Kids launched The Medicine Abuse Project , a five year action campaign that provides comprehensive resources for parents and caregivers, law enforcement officials, health care providers, educators and others so that everyone can take a stand and help end medicine abuse.
