The Lebanon Senior Center is operated by the City of Lebanon as a central place for services and activities for seniors. Its primary purpose is to enhance the lives of older adults by offering the opportunity for educational programs, health and social services, recreational activities, social events, transportation and a nutrition program.

The Senior Center is located at 80 Tangent Street, Lebanon, Oregon 97355. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The center may be contacted at 541.258.4919.

As an agency of the City of Lebanon, City employees manage the on-going business and programs of the Senior Center. In addition, many volunteers provide invaluable assistance in all areas of the Center’s activities.

The Senior and Disabled Services Advisory Board, consisting of members from the general public and business community, meets monthly to evaluate programs and policies. The members provide guidance in setting goals for the Senior Center and serve as a link with the community-at-large.

The majority of the funding for the Senior Center is supplied from general tax revenue, with some assistance from Federal and State funding sources. Also, a Senior Center Trust Fund is established to accept donations from the public. Expenditures from this fund are determined by the Senior and Disabled Services Advisory Board.
